OOe Appendix A Notice of Violation Sacramento Municipal Utility District Sacramento, California Docket No. 50-312 Based on tne results of an NRC inspection conducted on November 8-10, 18 and December 1-2, 1976, it appears tnat certain of your activities 1
were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below:
A.
Contrary to Appendix B. Technical Specification 5.5.1, detailed i
written procedures did not exist at the time of the inspection for the following items.
1.
describing the methods of collecting samples required by Table 2.6-2 of Appendix B.
2.
describing the method of assuring that the maximum activity to be contained in one waste gas storage tank does not exceed 135,000 curies as required by Appendix B specification 2.6.3.E.
3.
providing an instrument description and calibration chart for the gland steam condenser monitor (R15021).
B.
Contrary to Appendix B Technical Specification 5.5.3, the following unreviewed and unapproved procedural items existed at the time of the inspection:
1.
the working copy of enclosure 6.9 of SP200.07 had handwritten unreviewed, unapproved changes which had been followed during at least four quarterly calibrations.
2.
the procedure used to operate and calibrate the Tennecomp Gama Spectrometry System had not been reviewed and approved.
Items A and B above are infractions.
