UNIT NO. 1 NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMEND *8ENT TO FACILITY OPERATI'lG LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Cocrnission) has issued Amendnent No. 5 to Facility Operating License 'fo. "PF-3, issued to the Toledo Edison Company and the Cleveland Electric Illtninatino Co-cany, for operation of the Davis-Besse 'fuelaar Power Station, !' nit *:o.1 (the facility) located in Ottawa County, Ohio. The amendrent is ef9ctive as of its date of issuarece.
The amendment renves a condition which stipulated the anount of time allo ~ed from date of issuanc6 of the ooeratinc license for cc'-
pleting the installation of the gaseous radwaste treatment systen oxygen c:onitors.
The amendment ccrrlias with the standards and reautreronts of the Atcmic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Corrifssion's rules and regulations. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by tt.e Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration, oerics >

- The Cormission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental inact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 151.5(d)(4) an environraental impact statement, or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need it be oracared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
