ISSUMICE OF PACILITY OPERATIUG LICENSE TO DUl'E POUER COMPRTY We have issued Facility Operating License No. DPR-47 to the Duke Power Co=pany. The license authorizes Duke Fover Conpany to operate the Cconee Kucicar Station, Unit 2, at 2568 negawatts thernal in accordance with the Technical 1
Specifications appended thereto. These Technical Specifications restrict Unit 2 to 95% of rated power until test data now under review for Unit I have confirned that the Unit 1 prototype plant can be operated at significant power levels up to 95% of power in accordance with design predictions.-
The facility is' located on the applicant's site in eastern Oconee County, about eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina.
