NOTE FOR FILES Bob Pollard, DRS, called Friday, February 25, 1972, with the following coments and questions on the Oconee Units 2 and 3 Review Plan:

Item 3.11 Single rod withdrawal is not feasible in Oconce and therefore consequences do not need to be evaluated.

Item 6.2 Position on interlocks on isolation valves in the core floodine tank lines was waived for Oconee Unit 1 but Units 2 and 3 l

should meet the requirements of the position paper. This should not be an asterisk item.

Item 6.9 What was meant by this item? DRS currently working on guide to cover systems to detect failures dt inoperability of safety systems M 7 1 ant is in normal operation. This was our intent on this review item, I believe.

Item 7.6 Why isn't this an asterisk item? Because of the cable tray experience in Unit 1 and corrective changes to take place in Units 2 and 3.
