Dear Mr. Moseley:

On April 6,1976, the annual inspection of Oconee Unit 3 Reactor Building was completed pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.1.4.

The inspection was performed in accordance with approved test procedure PT/0/A/0150/16, Reactor Building Inspection Test.

A visual enafnation was made of accessible interior and exterior surfaces of the containment structure and its components. The following are discrepancies found during the inspection:

1.

Two hairline cracks in the concrete between the West and North-west buttresses near the dome were noted.

These cracks will be re===ined periodically for any further deterioration.

2.

Several tendon grease caps were found to have grease le;skage around the caps and filler plugs. Appropriate actions have been initi.m.ted to repair these leaks.

3.

One electrical penetration was observed to have been leaking SF-6 gas excessively and has been repaired.

From this inspection, no evidence of* deter 1 oration was feund which could ffect the containment's structural integrity or leak-tightness.

Ve truly yours, 4.$.
