Enclosed for your information are two copics of the sumary sheet for the final environtental statement prepared by the Co::nission's Regula-tory Staff relating to the application submitted by the Duke Power Company for its Oconee liuclear Station, Unit lio. 1.
Although the licensing action at this tirne is for Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 1, the Final Environuantal Statet.cnt has been written considering the com-bined effects of operation of Units 1, 2, and 3.
The final environmental stateracut was prepared in accordance with the statement of generel policy and procedure on inplementation of the rational Environmental Policy Act of 1969 as set out in Appendix D of the Comission's regulations, 10 CFR Part 50.
A notice of availability of the final environmental stater.ent is being sent to the Office of the Federal Register for filing and publication.
