Review mquest and determine if proposed modifications are acceptable In accordance with your mquest, the Structural Engineering Branch, Division of Technical Review, has reviewed the structural aspects of the subject material.
The applicant has made a detailed seismic design analysis of his proposed new storage racks using appropriate codes and floor response spectra. The results fmm this analysis have been combined with those from other suitable loadings and cowared against acceptable allowable stress levels and deflection criteria.
It is considered that the procedures used and results achieved show that the rack as currently desi.,ned is acceptable.
