Engelhardt Chief 11 earing Counsel Office of the General Counsel DUKE POWER COMPANT (OCONEE 1) - REQUEST TO DELETE PROPRIETARY INFORMATION FROM-RO REPORT No. 50-269/73-4 This refers.to my memorandum dared June 26, 1973, subject-as above, in which I requested assistance from OGC in resolving a claim for proprietary information in RO Inspection Report No. 50-269/73-4.
As you know, OGC deferred action on our original request pending the outcome of-a second review of the report by Duke in connection with the release of Oconee and McGuire reports to the intervenor t
in the McGuire case.. As discussed with you on August 7, 1973, Duke Power Company, in a letter to Grey Staples, OGC, dated July 31, 1973 reaffirned that the report contains information considered by B&W to be proprietary.
A copy of that letter is attached for your information. It is my understanding that you plan to reactivate work on the original request of June 26, 1973, in order to resolve this matter at an early date.
