G. Fiorelli, Chief, Reactor Operations and Nuclear Support Branch INTERNAL VENT VALVE REQUIREMENTS It is requested that you review the attached letter from R. D. Martin to determine if the acceptance criteria being used by the licensee is acceptable for initial core loading.
In addition, it is requested that you pursue with NRR the desirability of routine opening force tests of these vent valves during subsequent refueling outages.
