No. 4 L MEETIEG WITH DIKE AND BW 05 OCONEE UNIT 1 TECH SPECS RESULTING FROM PUEL DENSIFICATION - MAY 15, 1973 Another meeting was held with Duke and BW to work out the tech spec for 1001 power operation in Oconee Unit i resulting from fuel densification.
i BW remnalyzed the core thermal performance using the guidance provided by the staff and provided the staff.a set of technical specification changes based on this reanalysis. In the ensuing discussion the wording of some of the specifications was changed and Duke committed to nroviding core power maps on a weekly basis using the incore detectors in order to verify that power shapes were behaving as predicted and could be controlled by the actions and limits called for in the technical specifications. The procedures for taking the power maps would be prepared and sent to us prior to our issuing the tech spec changes permitting operations above 75% power.
