i MAY 21 B73 Docket No. 50-269 Note to File TELECON WITH T. COTTON, DUKE POWER COMPANY - OCONEE 1 SCHEDULE - MAY 21, 1973 T. Cotton called to report that Oconee Unit 1 ascention to 75%
power has been delayed to June 9 or 10, 1973 at the earliest. The problem causing the delays at 15% power has been reached Xenon

equilibrium because of the many times it has been necessary to go up and down due to trips and turbine problems.
The procedure for power mapping using the incore detectors will be mailed to us within the next few days for our review. Duke committed to power mapping at the fuel densification meeting held here on May 15, 1973.
