s August 21, 1973 Docket lio. 50-269 James Wagner, Chief, Central Accounts Branch, OC PARTIAL REFU!iD OF OPERATING LICENSE FEE - DUKE POWER COMPANY On January 31, 1973 Duke Power Company paid an operating license fee of $368,960, for a proposed full power operation (2568 Mwt) of the Oconee 1 facility.
When License DPR-38 was issued on February 6, 1973, operation of the facility was limited to 128 Mwt (5% power).
Subsequent author-izations were granted April 30 and June 6,1973, to allow operation i
at 75% (1926 Hwt) and 95% (2452 Mwt) power levels. To date, the additional 5% (116 Mwt) power increase has not been authorized; therefore, please refund $11,020 ($95 @ 116 Mwt) to Duke Power Company.
In our letter of August 15, 1973 (copy attached), we informed Duke Power Company of the pending refund.
Please notify the Business Management Branch when the refund has been made.
