Note to File I was advised by phone call for Ken Canady, Duke, that in the steam generator repair (A generator) at Oconee Unit 1 it will be necessary to remove 0.19+0.01 inches of the tube sheet clad instead of the planned 0.125 inches to provide a smooth surface in all areas of damage. B&V has already proceeded at this depth.

Clad thickness as measured from the two drillings (test holes) was found to lie 0.41 inches in one hole and O.42 inches in the second.

'. discussed this matter with Lange, DRS, and he felt that there would be sufficient clad thickness resaining to create no problem.

On another mattar, Duke's next Tech Spec submittal based on our meeting at Oconee March 29, 1972, will be May 5, 1972.
