Peltier Requested completion date: Timely Description of response: Coment on applicant's letter Review status: Co:nplete The Radiological Assessment Branch has reviewed the personnel qualifications, facilities, equipment and procedures for handling byproduct, source and special nuclear naterial sources, utilized for reactor startup and instrirnent calibration at Oconee nuclear Station. Based on the information provided in the FSAR and amendments, and in the applicant's letters of 11 arch.7, and May 31, 1974, we conclude that there is a reasonable assurance that these sources will be stored and used in a manner to meet the applicable radiation protection provisions of 10 CFR 20 and 30.
