In accordance with your request, we are forwarding 10 copies of our report on the seismicity of the Seneca (Oconee County), South Carolina, area.

The Coast and Geodetic Survey has reviewed and evaluated the infor-mation on the seismicity of the area presented by the applicant in their " Duke Power Company Oconee Nuclear Station Preliminary Safety Analysis Report," and find that it is satisfactory with respect to both distant and nearby earthquakes.
