Request for supporting information for the Callaway SPRA audit review Date: Wednesday, November 13, 2019 1:07:00 PM

Bruce, The purpose of this email is to solicit that the following supporting documents or information associated with the Callaway 50.54(f) seismic probabilistic risk assessment (SPRA) submittal (ADAMS Accession No. ML19225D321) are made available in the ePortal (IMS Certrec) audit folder:
1. Please provide documentation that describes the approach to the fragility analyses that utilize CDFM, Refined CDFM, and SoV methodologies, and provide information regarding the use of generic SPID values for structure and component fragilities. This will help the staff determine whether the fragility analysis approach and the method for selecting dominant risk contributors meets the intent of the SPID guidance.
2. Please provide documentation that describe each buildings soil structure interaction calculations and building specific ISRS and FIRS calculations. This information will help the staff determine if the structural response modeling meets the intent of the SPID guidance.
3. Please provide documentation that describes the details of any refined 3D analyses used in the fragilities calculations. Review of refined FEA modeling approach is needed to confirm the SPID guidance intent on lumped-mass stick models for building response is met.

This information will help the staff in completing the technical checklist used for our audit review (ADAMS Accession No. ML18173A017).

Please let me know when the documents are made available for audit or if we need to discuss further.

Respectfully, Milton Valentín, PM Beyond Design Basis Management (Fukushima)
