MONTH: April, 1978 Oconee 1 began the month of April at near rated power.
On 4/17 power was reduced to 91% for maintenance on the 1D2 heater drain pump. The unit was returned to near rated power the same day.
On 4/21 the unit was removed from service because of a leak in the "B" OTSG.
It remained out of service the duration of the month.
