IE:II:NCM IE Bulletin 77-01 50-269 50-270 50-287

Dear Mr. Moseley:

Your letter of April 29, 1977 transmitted OIE Bulletin 77-01 con-cerning pneumatic time delay relay setpoint drift in certain diesel generator circuits. At this time we have not been notified by the vendor of any potential setpoint drift problems associated with the time delay relays in use at Oconee Nuclear Station.

A review of the use of pneumatic time delay relays in safety-related systems at Oconee Nuclear Station has been initiated.

However, additional time is required to complete our review and analysis.

It is expected that this review will be completed by July 1, 1977 and a response to the subject bulletin will be forwarded at that time.
