Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
Your letter of September 12, 1977 transmitted OIE Bulletin 77-02 concerning a potential failure mechanism in certain Westinghouse AR relays. In accordance with your request, a review of safety-related systems at Oconee Nuclear Station was conducted.
It has been deter-mined that the AR relays described in OIE Bulletin 77-02 are not used in safety-related systems at Oconee Nuclear Station.
