Dear Mr. Davis:
With reference to your letter of March 8, 1972 dealing with certain items of apparent non-compliance at our Oconee Nuclear Station, I have contacted Mr. Murphy of your office and received from his an indication that we can be granted a 30-day extension to the normal 30 days required to answer this letter.
This extension is needed because of certain reports that are being prepared by outside consultants and firms, as we believe that our answer to your letter can be much more meaningful if this extension is granted.
Please consider this letter a confirmation of this extension.
