A CD:1 draft covering these several r:onecnformance itens has been suiritted to Conpliance Head-quarters f conce.
It was previously reported in CO Peport 'io. 50-269/70--11 that stainless i
teel safe enda in the prir.ary coolant pump discharge nozzles had become censitized as a result of heat treating adjacent carbon steel welds.
Our inspector was informed during this inspection that the licensee now plans to overlay the interior of at least two of the nozzles and, if time permits in the construction schedule, the renaining two safo ends will also be backclad. We will continue to carry 1.his is en outstanding item pending ccmpletion of the tacke.ladding effort.
The licenne 2's reactor core 1cading schedule hac slipped from April to I.*ay 1971. We feel that September 1971 would be a rure realistic date for loading fuel.
