_ Order Extending Provisional Construction Permit Completion Date By application dated January 25, 1972, Duke Power Company requested an extension of the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Pernit No. CPPR-34.
The permit authorizes tha construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor designated as the Oconee Nuclear Station Unit 2 at the applicant's site in Oconee County, South Carolina, i
approximately eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina.
Good cauce having been shown for this extension pursuant to Section 185 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Section 50.55(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Cocaission's regulations, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED D!AT the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-34 is extended from February 28, 1972 to February 28, 1973.
