i RESPONSE TO IE INSPECTION REPORT 50-269, -270, -287/77-4 Item I Contrary to the requirements of Paragraph 50.54(1-1) of 10 CFR 50, the licensee failed to implement an operator requalification program meeting the minimum requirements of Appendix A to 10 CFR 55, in that as of April 7, 1977, systematic reactor operator performance evaluations had not been completed, documented and reviewed as specified in Sections 5 and 6 of the licensee's approved requalification program.

RESPONSE

A program is being established at Oconee Nuclear Station which will assure proper evaluation, documentation, and review of the performance of non-supervisory licensed operators.

This program will be implemented by July 1, 1977.
