USE OF ASME CODE CASE N-242 FOR V0GTLE In response to your letter of December 18, 1979, Code Case N-242 may be applied in the construction of components for the Vogtle Nuclear Plant.

Units 1 and 2, subject to the following condition, in addition to those specified in the code case. The additional condition is that all compone.'ts and' supports requiring.the use of paragraphs 1.0 through 4.0 of the code case should be identified in the FSAR.
