This confirms our plans discussed on March 11, 1980 between you and Mr. E. R. Schweibinz of this office to meet with you and members of your staff on March 25, 1980 in Madison, Indiana. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria-auditorium of the Madison Junior High School, 701 Eighth Street. The purpose of the meeting is to dis-cuss your response to the August 15, 1979, " Order Confirming Suspension of Construction."
The meeting will be open to the public as observers. There will be time allotted at the conclusion of the review session.for questions and comments from members of the public on your proposal to resume construction at Marble Hill. -A copy of our news announcement is attached.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this

Jan Strasma 312/932-2674 NRC STAFF TO HOLD TECHNICAL MEETING IN MADISON, INDIANA, TO REVIEW PROGRAM FOR RESUMPTION OF WORK AT MARELE HILL The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with Public Service of Indiana on March 25 in Madison, Indiana, w
i to review the utility's program for resumption of safety-related work at the Marble Hill Nuclear Power Station near Madison.
The meeting is o7en to the public as observers.
There will be time allotted at the conclusion of the review session for i
questions and comments from members of'the.public on the utility's proposal to resume construction at Marble Hill.
The meeting will'begin at 6:30 p.m. March 25 in the cafeteria-auditorium of the Madison Junior High School, 701 Eighth Street, Madison.
Safety-related construction work at the Marble Hill site has been halted since August 1979 as a re'sult of serious deficiencies in the construction management and quality _ assurance programs of the utility and its contractors.
The suspension of construction was confirmed by an order issued August 15 by the NRC Office of
. Inspection and Enforcement.
The March 25 meeting in Madison will discuss the utility's response to the order which details its program to upgrade the quality assurance program and construcrion management activities at Marble Hill.
The utility submitted the corrective action program to the NRC on February 28.
