Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
i In response to your December 7, 1979 letter which transmitted IE Bulletin 79-28, we wish to advise that a review of' Catawba Nuclear Station has been conducted. This review has revealed that 64 NAMCO Model EA 100 Limit Switches used in safety-related equipment at this station may be of the production lot specified in the bulletin. The four digit number stamped n-the conduit boss of the switch housings will be checked and the top gasket of the switch replaced if this number falls between 02-79 and 08-29.
These corrective actions will be completed by July 1, 1980.
