TELECON WITH FRANK JAPE OF R0 REGION II - JUNE 17, 1973 F. Jape called to report that Duke Power wanted to take exception to the order in which the full pressure leak test and the half pressure leak test should be performed on Oconee Unit 2 containment.

Dnke's objective was to get the structural test and full pressure test out of the way on the weekend so crews could be brought back on Monday morning while the half pressure test was being perfonned.

F. Jape was told that we would not accept the proposed order of dropping from full pressure to half pressure without a significant time period in between because of the off-gassing problem.

R0 concurred in this position.

F. Jape also reported that he did not think Oconee 2 would be ready for fuel loading by August 20, 1973.

He estimated at least a one month slip.

(Duke now says fuel loading will be August 13, 1973 - June 18, 1973 telecon).
