1. A. Peltier, PWR Branch #4, L TilRU: D. Thomps on, Ch ie f, OS B, L MINIMUM SilIFT STAFFING FOR Tile OCONEE NUCLEAR STATION UNITS 2 & 3 (DOCKET NOS. 50-270 & 287)

At a recent meeting with Duke Power Company personnel, the subject of minimum shift staf fing for three-unit operation was discussed.

In preparation for the issuance of Technical Specifications for Units 2 and 3, I propose that minimum shift staffing requirements for the l

three-unit operation at Oconee be in substantial conformance with the attached draf t material. The incorporation of this material would make subsections 6.1.1.4 and 6.1.1.7 superfluous.
