Docket No. 50-270

Dear Mr. Moseley:

On June 2,1976, the annual inspection of Oconce Unit 2 Reactor Building was completed pursuant to Technical Specification 4.4.1.4.

The inspection was performed in accordance with approved test pro-4 cedure PT/0/A/0150/16, Reactor Building Inspect. ion Test.

A visual examination was made of accessibic interior and exterior surfaces of the containment structure.

No discrepancies were e.>ted other than those reported in the previous Oconee Unit 2 Reactor Building inspection report as transmitted by our letter of March 13, j

1975. These discrepancies Aneluded grease seepage through construction joints at exterior locations on the Reactor Building and grease leakage f

arounc tendon grease caps and filler plugs.

Corrective action per-i formed ou the Icaking grease caps included the application'of scalant j

tape to the grease plug thecads and retorquing of the bolts. This action was effective in redt.cing grease leakage to a minimum.

From this inspection no evidence of deterioration was found which I

could affect the containment's structural integrity or leak tightness.
