Dear Sir:
In response to your letter of July 18, 1977 concerning the use of throttle valves to obtain the required flow distribution in the HPSI or LPSI systems, a review of the Oconee design was performed. The design of the Oconee Nuclear Station does not require the use of either manual or motor operated valves in these lines that have electrical or mechanical stops which must be adjusted to insure that flow requirements are satisfied.
