I am Senior Vice President in charge of Power for the Virginia Electric and Power Company.

I have reviewed the document requests in the subpoena duces tecum issued by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board in this proceeding at the request of the Department of Justice, and served on Virginia Electric and Power Company on November 27, 1972, as subsequently modified by the letter of April 30, 1973, from David A. Leckie, Esquire, Antitrust Division, United States Department of Justice, to John H. Shenefield, Counsel for Virginia Electric and Power Company.

In compliance with the requests for documents in the subpoena, as modified, I made reasonable inquiry of those officers and employees of Virginia Electric. and Power Company 3 912170 f y3

in charge of the matters under inquiry and directed that a search be conducted in those files that would probably contain the documents, if any existed, sought in the subpoena.
Specifically, I communicated with E. II. Crutchfield, Senior Vice President for Conanercial Operations, C. M. Stallings,
Executive Manager of Power Supply & Production Operations, J.
K. Taylor, Manager of Power Supply, R. S. Gay, Manager of Rates,
and G. J. Porter, Senior Staff Engineer, Power Supply.

In the resulting document search, no documents have been identified that fall within the scope of the subpoena duces tecum.
