Dear Mr. Moseley:

i In response to your letter of March 16, 1976 which transmitted IE Bulletins 76-02 and 76-03, my letter of April 16, 1976 stated that a review was in progress to determine if these type relays are in use i

at the Oconee Nuclear Station.

This review of the Oconee Nucicar Station design has been completed and revealed that 50 of the CE Type

)

IIFA relays as discussed in IE Bulletin 76-02 are used in saf ety-related applications. No GE Type STD relays as described in IE Bulletin 76-03 are used at this station.

The coils of these 50 relays will be replaced with the reco::cended I.exan type coils by September 1,1976.

V y truly yours, h'
