ORDER PERMI'ITING PARTICIPATION BY WE STATE OF SCUM CAROLINA On Au6ust 10,1967, the State of South Carolina, acting by and through its Assistant Attorney General, filed a petitien +4 inter-vene in this proceeding as its interest might appear in accordance with the provisiens of the Atomic Energy Cc m ission's Regulations, 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2 715(c). 'Ihat Section provides that an inter-ested State which is not a party to the proceeding vill be afforded a reasonable opportunity to participate in the proceeding and to introduce evidence, interrogate witnesses and to advise the Atemic Energy Cceissicn without requiring the State to take a position with respect to the issues.
WHEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to the Atemic Energy Act, as amended, the Ccuission's Rules of Practice, particularly Section 2 715(c), that the request is granted and the State of South Carolina i
