Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In response to your letter of June 12, 1978, which forwarded IE Bulletin 78-07, a review of respiratory equipment in use at Oconee Nuclear Station has been performed.

Eupplied-air hoods, half-mask face pieces, and full face pieces in a demand mode are not utilized by personnel at Oconee.

Instead, respiratory equipment consisting of supplied-air respirators operated in a continuous-flow mode, self-contained breathing apparatuses operated in a pressure-demand mode, and particulate respirator masks are utilized.

Very 'truly yours,

,q f
