Transmitted herewith are Volumes I and II of the Oconee Nuclear Station Preliminary Safety Analysis Report, filed by Duka Power Company for the proposed construction and operation of a two-unit nuclear power plant at its Oconee Nuclear Station located in eastern Oconee County, approximately eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina. The reactors are designed for initial operation at 2452 thermal megawatts with a net electrical output of approximately 839 megawatts.
Please review the applicacios and provide Mr. Charles A. Lovejoy, Office of the Controller, with your coments as to the reasonableness of the applicant's estimates of the cost of construction of the proposed reactor. A copy of your comments should be sent to this office.
