My letter dated May 13, 1976 responded to your letter dated April 26, 1976 concerning the provisions of 10CFR50.55a.

The review to deter-mine the practicality of conformance to the ASME Section XI inservice inspection and testing requirements is continuing.

It is currently expected that this review will be completed to identify those com-ponents which cannot be tested and Technical Specification revisions will b,e submitted by September 1, 1976
