013I On September 21, 1976 Duke Power Company representatives met with members of your staff to discuss the significance of seismic activity in the vicinity of the Jacassee Dam and the potential impact on the Oconee Nuclear Station.
This is to advise you that the seismic monitoring program discussed at that meeting is being reinstituted for a period of two years.
The instru-mentation to be installed will be capable of accurately locating and measuring seismic activity in the area.
It is expected that this instrumentation sys'eem will be operational on November 1, 1976.
