Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Please reference my letter of August 3, 1973 which transmitted to you the Oconee Nuclear Station Interim Security Plan.
Section 4.4.2.1 specifies the training requirements for members of the station guard force. A training program which meets the requirements of Section 4.4.2.1 has been implemented, and it is anticipated that the present security force will complete this training before February 1, 1974.
The training and retraining provisions of Section 4.4.2.1 are exempted frnm implementation until February 1, 1974, at which time the two-year retraining period shall commence.
