Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Duke Power Compan; is filing herewith Amendment No. 47 to its Application for Licenses for the Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 1 operating pursuant to Facility Operating License DPR-38, Unit 3 under construction pursuant to Provisional Construction Permit CPPR-35, by submitting 73 copies of Revision No. 34 to the Final Safety Analysis Report by following the attached tabulation identified as FSAR Revision No. 34.
The purpose of Amendment 47 is to revise the description of the stuck rod accident analysis contained in Section 14.
As required by Section 2.101 of the Commission's Regulations, a copy of this Amendment No. 47 is being served on Mr. James M. Phincey, County Supervisory of Oconee County, South Carolina, the county in which the facility is located.
