Dear Mr. Giambusso:

t'/r Duke Power Company is filing herewith Amendment No. Fr to its Application for Licenses for the Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 1 operating pursuant to Facility Operating License DPR-38, Unit 2 operating pursuant to Facility Operating License DPR-47, and Unit 3 under construction pursuant to Provisional Construction Permit CPPR-35, by submitting 73 copies of Revision No. 33 to the Final Safety Analysis Report. Please insert the revised material in the Final Safety Analysis Report by following the attached tabulation identified as FSAR Revision No. 33.

The purpose of Amendment 46 is to revise the proposed Technical Specifi-cations for Units 1, 2, and 3, and to describe changes in the Oconee Nuclear Station organization.

As required by Section 2.101 of the Conunission's Regulations, a copy of this Amendment No. 46 is being served on Mr. James M. Phinney, Gounty Supervisor of Oconee Cevity, South Carolina, the county in which the facility is located.
