REVISIONS TO FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN With reference to activities authorized by SNM-1097, General Electric Company hereby submits the latest revisions to the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan for the fuel fabrication f acility in Wilmington, North Carolina.
These changes cover the following three areas:
Changes in Sections 1, 5 and 6 in responce to the request o
(Reference #2) that " book record," as described in the FNMC Plan, encompass both total plant and individual MBA/ICA records.
A change in Paragraph 4.2.3.4 to establish a clearer distinction between standards used for calibration and those used for calibration checks on the Elephant Gun.
A change in Paragraph 4.5.2 to reflect a system improvement in e
the scale limit monitoring method.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d), General Electric requests that the attachments to this letter be withheld from public disclosure since they contain information which identifies General Electric's procedu'res for safeguarding licensed special nuclear material.
