Enclosed are three (3) originals and forty (40) copies of revision to the report BAW-1607 Revision 1, April 1980, Crystal River Unit 3 Cycle 3 Reload Report. This report was submitted on April 14, 1980 and justifies opera-tion of Crystal River Unit 3 at 2544 MWt. These revisions are required due to the replacement of a fuel assembly which was found to have a broken holddown spring. The accident and transient analysis presented in BAW-1607 continue to be conservative with respect to continued operation at the cur-rent licensed power level of 2452 MWt. Proposed Technical Specifications for continued operation at 2452 MWt without Reactor Coolant Pump Power Monitors were. submitted on April 30, 1980. These Technical Specifications are based on the analysis in BAW-1607. The Technical Specifications submitted on Arril 30, 1980 remain unchanged due to these revisions to BAW-1607.
A written response to other questions by membe.s of your staff concerning the analysis in BAW-1607 will be provided by 6/13/80.
