Houston Lighting & Power Company Report on Status of Settlement (Docket Nos. 50-498A and 50-499A)
Gentlemen:
I have enclosed herewith Houston's Report on the status of settlement, pursuant to the Board's Order dated April 10, 1980.
Houston had intended to file this Report by hand today, but last minute developments in the settlement negotiations made this impossible.
Because the negotiations, at this point, are being conducted on a lawyer-to-lawyer basis, counsel for Houston has personal knowledge of the matters set forth in the Report.
Under these circumstances Houston does not believe that an affidavit would be appropriate.
