8005130 M ggg Appendix A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Wisconsin Electric Power Company Docket No. 50-26'6; 50-301 Based on the inspection conducted on February 19 and 20, 1980, it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC regulations as indicated below.
The following is an infraction.
Technical Specification 15.3.4.A.(a) states that during two unit operation, "Three of the four auxiliary feedwater pumps must be operable".
Technical Specification 15.3.4.C.1 states that "one of the three operable auxiliary feedwater pumps may be out-of-service provided a pump is restor-ed to operable status within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />.
Contrary to the above, the two motor driven auxiliary feedwater pumps were not fully operable during two unit operation between January 26, 1980 and February 2, 1980. The pressure transmitters were isolated and although two pumps would have started automatically, the isolation valves would not have opened automatically.
