Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This letter is a report of our progress concerning NRC I.E.Bulletin 79-14.
Our last letter to you, S.N. 552G/070279 of January 11, 1980, indicated that our target date was April 21, 1980 for completing the valve and operator weight verification program for both Units 1 and 2 at North Anna. We are nearing completion of our review, and our estimated completion date now is May 1, 1980.
Nonconformances identified to date have been reported by Licensee Event Reports for Unit 1 and by 10CFR50.55(e)/10CFR21 for Unit 2.
A complete summary of all nonconformances will be provided in our final bulletin report.
