Dear !!r. President:
I hate received a copy of the letter which was addressed to you by students of the American ifedical Student Association, University of Illinois, Urbana /
Cha:paign relating to the federal action to be taken later this year at the Dresden I Suclear Power Plant.
The procedure involved is an experitent that will attempt to clean-out the radioactive corrosive products that are plugging the piping of the plant.
Approxicately 10,000 to 20,000 pounds of a proprietary Dow Chemical solvent centaining chelating agents will be pu= ped into the pipes, allowed to stand f or 100 hours0.00116 days
0.0278 hours
1.653439e-4 weeks
3.805e-5 months
, flushed out and then evaporated to reduce the end product to 450 to 1,000 pounds.
If you are aware of this planned experi=ent, I would appreciated being advised of what actions are to take place.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.
With personal regards, I re:ain Sin e ely ; urs,
