' NOTICE'0F VIOLATION Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company Docket No. 50-213 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on December 17-20,1979, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full compliance with the conditions of your license as indicated below.
This. item is an infraction.
Environmental Technical Specification (ETS) 2.4.3.l(1) limits the release rate of noble gases from the site based upon the beta and gamma energies of the isotopic mix being released.
Contrary to the above requirerr,ent, on December 16, 1979, a noble gas mixture was released which exceeded the ETS 2.4.3.1(1) limit by a factor of 5.2 for a period of 10 minutes.
