" Reportable Occurrence Report No. 50-366/1980-039.

Durina shutddwn while performing Standby Gas Treatnent System Ventilation Surveillance to comply with Tech Spec 4.6.6.1'.a no flow could be established to 2T46-D001B Standby Gas Filter Train. The redundant filter train was operable.

The cause of the event was the standby Gas Treatment System "B" Ventilation Fan, 2T46-C001B, motor winding failure. The motor was repaired and the fan returned to service and proven operable per Standby Gas Treatment Ventilation, HNP-2-3655. An investigation was made to determine the cause of the motor winding failure, but no specific reason for the failure could be found.

The cause of this event was not of a repetitive nature and public health or safety were not effected.
