9 This letter is in response to your letter of March 9 requesting information on environmental effects of flew England's operating nuclear power plants.
Your first concern was the levels of radioactive effluents permitted by HRC. These levels are determined by the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 20 and Appendix I to Part 50.
Title 10 can be purchased from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. 20402.
Perhaps your' college library has a copy or can borrow one for your use.
The remainder of your concerns are addressed in our environmental statements on the flew England plants (except Yankee Rowe and Maine Yankee) and in the licensees' environmental monitoring reports; this information is j
