We have received a copy of your application dated January 7,1980, which you filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review.
The application proposed Technical Specification changes-for the Big Rock Point Plant relating to conformance with Appendix J of 10 CFR Part 50 on containment sphere leakage testing.
Your application was not accompanied by a license amendment fee as required by 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on guidance from the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of your application, it has been determined that the proposed request involves consideration of a single safety issue. As such, a Class III fee of $4,000 is applicable and should be forwarded to this office promptly.
If the final review of your application by the ONRR staff reveals that this fee is incorrect, your Company will be refunded any overpayment or be asked to pay any additional amount due.
As a matter of information, the above application is not exempt from fees under the provision of Footnote 2 of 10 CFR 170.22.
Footnote 2 is not intended to apply to a licensee's application filed to comply with Commission regulations, guides, and license conditions.
